First Theme
Photography and Poem by:
EMILY MCHUGH
first theme
dusty firmament sowed light
on fragments of glass and sand.
lost insight!
oh, what depths are left for me here.
a torrid plane
amid thick fog,
or the quiet closing of a door
when silence is shattered.
shards of a memory repeating
a lifted gesture -
soft and heavy,
lethargy feels the same way.
